LIVING LEGACY

WHERE THE STORY BEGINS

Jeddah, on the eastern shores of the Red Sea, has been a magnet for pilgrims and explorers, to traders, royalty and rulers since the 7th Century AD. Al Hamra Palace continues this legacy, inviting honoured guests from across the Eastern and Western world. Now opening its doors to distinguished travellers.

Jeddah’s Architectural Icon

The Japanese Palace

The Japanese Palace stands prominently within Al-Hamra Palace, in a design that brings together elements of Saudi architecture with the distinct character of Japanese architecture. It was designed by the renowned Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, a Pritzker Prize laureate, presenting a unique architectural vision that blends the two cultures in a striking work.
